Front Office Agent – Receptionist

We are currently seeking for an experienced Front Office Agent/ Receptionist to join our 5* Doryssa Seaside Resort located in Pithagoreion of Samos.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Hospitality/Tourism
  • 2 years minimum experience as a Receptionist in a 5* Hotel
  • Knowledge of Hotel PMS
  • Excellent command of both English and Greek language is essential
  • Very good knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered as an asset
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer – oriented
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team work spirit
  • Customer service attitude​

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner
  • Organize reception area
  • Answer and address incoming phone calls in a timely and polite manner; deliver messages accurately
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures for providing excellent service standards
  • Liaise with all departments and ensure guests satisfaction at all times
  • Receive and handle payments, check-in & check-out procedures in an efficient manner
  • Support the General Manager and other departments in administrative duties
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

Guest Relations Agent

Doryssa Hotel & Resorts Company Location Samos, Northern Aegean, Greece.

A guest relations agent follows humane approach and guest-oriented techniques in order to fulfil guests’ desires, requests and make them feel uniquely during their stay.

Qualifications & Personal attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree (National or International university/ AEI or TEI)
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Knowledge of any additional language will be an advantage (Swedish, German e.t.c)
  • High knowledge of MS office. Knowledge of Epitome will be considered as an asset
  • Pleasant and positive personality and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the relevant lists (VIP, arrival etc…) of the next day in co-operation with Reception and check what we expect the following day.
  • Ensuring guests receive on time the requested services.
  • Preparing the welcome and departure letters for the guests.
  • Welcoming arriving guests and rooming them.
  • Welcoming groups, inspection visits and external visitors and giving them hotel orientation, guidance and information.
  • Upselling, cross selling and generally promoting the hotel product (additional revenue)
  • Being precise and having attention to detail
